Alan RogaFounder

Alan Roga United States - Scottsdale, Arizona

I am a seasoned healthcare technology entrepreneur and emergency medicine physician with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare delivery, tech-enabled services, and HCIT, leading businesses from start-ups to large-cap public companies. Repeatedly, I have achieved success scaling companies, managing a P&L, and growing profit margins.

✪ CAREER OVERVIEW:
Currently, I am Founder and CEO of TruLite Health. Its time to address health equity and meaningfully improve healthcare for diverse populations.

My career trajectory has provided me with many opportunities to transform healthcare delivery and develop innovative healthcare technology solutions. Trained and certified in Emergency Medicine, I served as an attending physician at Scottsdale Healthcare for 15 years. With proven success as a physician leader, I was recruited as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine, where I implemented operational improvements and significantly increased profitability. Following, I was elected by the shareholders of the emergency services management company as President/CEO, where I doubled revenue within three years and positioned the organization for acquisition by a public company.

Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, I leveraged my experience and created, launched, and led StatDoctors, a virtual healthcare pioneer. As founder and CEO, I raised capital, developed software, and monetized market strategy, growing to 1M members nationally before the company was acquired by Teladoc (NYSE:TDOC), the global leader in virtual care delivery. Post-acquisition, I was asked to build and lead Teladoc’s Health Systems Business Unit, an internal start-up. I delivered exponential growth and achieved multibillion-dollar enterprise value within five years. I was then internally promoted to Chief of Clinical Operations for Teladoc to focus on scaling operations across multiple products, improving the cost of service in alignment with company goals, and optimizing our products.

✪ SELECTED CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rebuilt the entire clinical delivery system across multiple technology products and tens of thousands of providers, culminating in the delivery of 10M+ virtual visits in 2020.
• Developed SaaS model virtual care software and GTM strategy for health systems.
• Founded and led pioneering virtual healthcare start-up and tech-enabled services company.
• Participated in IPO process and 12 acquisitions to accelerate the growth of the company 40X in five years.
• Built best-in-class software exclusively endorsed by American Hospital Association and leading health systems.
