Shawn Murphy has over 25 years of multi-industry and multi-disciplinary experience (buzz words, yay). He has developed technologies and businesses which were highly profitable and revolutionary. He has deep technical and industry expertise in multiple fields such as: Energy Systems, Oil & Gas (O&G), Aerospace, Defense, IT Security, Semiconductor, and Consumer Electronics.

With a knack to build world class teams and organizations Shawn has started multiple companies including eBook company in the late 90’s, which holds the first digital rights management (DRM) patent that enables internet subscription payments and a fabless semiconductor company which created one of the first hardware/software miniature anti-tamper systems in the world. In addition to multiple entrepreneurial endeavors Shawn was the Head of Earth and Space Science at Draper Laboratory where he led numerous missions such as LADEE, CYGNSS, and Exoplanet Sat. Afterwards, Shawn was the founder of Shell TechWorks, Shell Oil & Gas innovation/engineering hub in Boston and Shanghai. Its sole purpose it to develop, test, deploy and commercialize revolutionary technology in the O&G space.

Currently Shawn is the CEO/CTO of an advanced BMS (Battery Management System) technology company, which will be revolutionizing the renewable space by lowering the cost of lithium-ion batteries by at least 30%-40% and doubling its expected life. Titan’s technology uses ultrasound to measure and determine the state of health and state of charge real time and about 100X time better than the current state-of-art. This technology would be eventually implemented in electric vehicles, stationary storage, and consumer electronic.
