The Cool Down (TCD) is America’s first mainstream climate brand, empowering people from all walks of life to help themselves while helping the planet.

TCD launched in July 2022 on web, Instagram, and TikTok with content that showcases progress and products in and around the climate space. We amplify the voices of rising creators across unexpected categories—everything from home to outdoors to tech to business—with the ultimate goal of sparking change by making climate content relatable, accessible, actionable, and fun.

Working at TCD is an opportunity to make your mark on a young company with an ambitious and meaningful goal—and to do it all in a supportive, inclusive, fully remote workplace where creativity, flexibility, and work-life balance are valued above all else. We continue to build our team of talented content and commerce experts who are tapped into mainstream culture and social media trends and who have successful track records engaging audiences from all walks of life.

Anna Robertson United States - Park City, Utah,

I'm an award winning executive, producer and innovator with over two decades of experience at the forefront of changes in the media landscape. My latest venture is co-founding and leading content for a well-funded, mission-driven content and commerce company that will help more people feel invested in a cleaner, cooler future.

Until January 2022, I was VP for Content & Partner Innovation for ABC's Owned Television Stations, focused on envisioning, testing and launching new content and products to serve local communities, including launching an industry-leading, award-winning data journalism team and overseeing streaming strategy and partnerships. Given my passion around sustainability and climate, I spearheaded climate coverage for ABC's stations, bringing together ABC’s local stations and meteorologists with National Geographic explorers and ABC News. I executive-produced an hour-long special airing across ABC stations and Hulu, “Our America: Climate of Hope,” telling the story of climate change through extreme weather and showcasing the ingenuity, innovation and heroes working to create a better future.

I spent 6 years at Yahoo, where I became VP & Head of Video, overseeing a team of over 100 people and managing video production, partnerships and programming across Yahoo's editorial segments including news, sports, finance, entertainment and lifestyle. I oversaw production of award-winning short form docu-series, supervised over 50 original programs and drove millions of dollars of branded content. I also conducted on-camera interviews with major newsmakers, including then-Vice President Joe Biden and Melinda Gates.

Prior to joining Yahoo, I spent 10 years at ABC News as a senior producer for Good Morning America and Diane Sawyer’s producer, covering major stories around the world including 9/11, the Iraq War, the Tsunami in Asia, Hurricane Katrina and more. After graduating from UVA, I started my career as a desk assistant working the overnight shift at ABC News in New York.
