Meet Semlani is the co-founder of Tartan. Tartan is bringing to life his vision for a platform that empowers employees and businesses to share their income and employment data in a seamless way and avail financial wellness benefits.

This 500 Global alum co-founded Tartan almost 1 year ago and is now backed by Info-Edge Ventures and AngelList and has raised financing of $6M which is deployed to grow a global team of tech and start-up enthusiasts to more than 60 people. He comes with experience from finance and customer-obsessed roles in both enterprises and startups such as JPMorgan Chase and Leap. Before co-founding Tartan, he worked in the fintech lending space with a focus on delivering value to students who want to study abroad but don't have the financial means to do so.

Meet is a startup generalist who advocates for making people's financial lives healthier with a personal mission to open up the access to financial services to underserved and the underserved category like gig workers and domestic helpers.
