Soda Health is a healthcare technology company focused on building solutions which eliminate health inequities and create a healthier America. I started my career as a social worker serving communities in the mental health and substance abuse spaces before spending 8 years building and scaling new healthcare businesses at Walmart. During my tenure as a social worker and as a builder at Walmart, I believed to my core that there had to be a a better way for people to get their first order needs met - in an economic model that isn't prohibitive for health plans and employers to scale. I became obsessed with an idea to transform how social care is delivered and Soda Health (the phonetic pronunciation for social determinants of health) was born.

Soda Health is a healthcare technology company that helps people identify and access the resources they need to achieve a healthy life. We do this by partnering with health plans and employers to provide a technology platform to administer and reimburse resources personalized to individual needs, delivered more cost-effectively. Our expertise in healthcare, retail and consumer experience provides us with the foundation for creating easy-to-use solutions with an experience which moves beyond transactional relationships to sustained engagement and overall health improvement.

Key accomplishments at Walmart:
• One of the Walmart Health founding team architects - led economic modeling, built pricing strategy, and set prices for all Walmart Health services
• Authored Walmart's health incentive and payments ("directed spend") strategy for health plans and scaled this business from $5M to >$1B in annual revenue
• Core contributor to Walmart's overall healthcare strategy - evaluated and advised on numerous M&A, JV, and partnership opportunities across the healthcare business
• One of the key architects of Walmart's health insurance distribution business - building from the ground up into the largest omni-channel retail insurance distribution business in the US
• Built many of the ML / AI models leveraged at Sam's Club to forecast traffic, predict member behavior, identify offer elasticity, and trigger actions to improve renewal rates / offer efficiency- leading to material CAC, marketing spend, and renewal rate improvements in addition to the transformation of Sam's Club's membership business
