The award-winning Sharrow Propeller™ was invented by Gregory Sharrow and developed by Sharrow Engineering LLC, a Philadelphia-based nautical and aeronautical design firm. In 2019, Sharrow Marine was launched by Sharrow Engineering for all nautical applications for the Sharrow Propeller™.

Sharrow Engineering offers a variety of innovative, energy-saving propellers -- each custom-designed and scientifically suited for your specific needs. The Sharrow Propeller™ has applications in all types of commercial marine shipping, aerospace, aviation, industrial and commercial non-propulsion uses, as well as in recreational marine use.

Fifty-four U.S. and international patent applications have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and foreign countries to protect the intellectual property rights for the  Sharrow Propeller™. Already, 27 patents have been awarded in the  U.S., Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe  (14 countries), Taiwan, China, and South Korea  – with many other patent applications pending in countries around the globe.

Inventor of the Sharrow Propeller™ and the President and CEO of Sharrow Engineering LLC with over a decade of propulsor design, testing, analysis, and manufacturing experience. Specialties include the design, testing and development of high-efficiency propeller blades for the nautical and aeronautical industries.

Gregory Sharrow also has over 2 decades of experience working as an Executive Producer and Director in the music and film production industries. He has in-depth experience with social media, music, film, documentaries, commercials and live multi-camera productions with strong multi-media communication skills.

Gregory is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in classical music composition.
