My career has largely focused on commercialising new technologies in the agriculture sector, punctuated with 10 years’ international experience financing developments and securing regulatory approvals in energy sector, including agriculture-based renewable energy.

I’m employing those skills as Managing Director of Rumin8, an ag-tech company focused on developing global products that reduce methane emissions from livestock, contributing to both the health of our planet and the long-term sustainability of our beef, diary and sheep industries.

Experiences at board and executive management level, with both start-up and mature businesses, has taught me that the agriculture sector is a tremendous adopter of new technology; that being transparent with stakeholders builds trust; and that it’s amazing what can be achieved when you surround yourself with intelligent, motivated people and partners.

My goal, inspired by a multi-generational farming background, is to provide farmers with the tools they need to transition to climate friendly food production systems to ensure the industry is well positioned for the next generation of farmers.
