Innovation: Pioneered and patented VUI’s breakthrough AI platform for fully automated language understanding and training large language models with diverse data sources.

Corporate Transactions: Led the strategic sale of both VUI, Inc. and Airsense Wireless overseeing the seamless transition of both companies and assets to the acquirers. Guided Zoom Telephonics through its merger with Minim and secured a $22M private investment in public equity (PIPE). Led Nokia’s acquisition of Motorola; negotiated and closed $1.4B deal over 18 months, securing Verizon and Sprint as customers. Completed 13 divestitures and 20+ acquisitions and investments during tenure with Nokia.

Revenue Growth: Grew VUI’s revenue by winning key Fortune 100 customers and creating a sustainable Annual Recurring Revenue stream. . Delivered 80% of Minim’s $80M revenue by creating a sales partnership with Amazon. Beat annual sales quota consistently with Nokia Siemens Networks in North America.

Executive Oversight: Multi-time CEO as well as Executive and Independent Board member. Served as chair of Minim’s audit committee. Advised Nokia’s CFO and Group Executive Board on corporate partnerships, monetization of intellectual property, acquisition targets, and overall strategic direction.

Corporate Finance: Partnered with Nokia’s global CFO on corporate bonds / debt, equity investments, IR messaging and engagement with institutional investors, and compliance with public market regulatory requirements. As CEO of VUI, led multiple funding rounds over 5 years, raising $18M from leading investors.
