Walter is an entrepreneur & innovator from Berlin (Germany) with experience in different business sectors. His main focus lies on launch services and satellite technology. In 2014 he founded Germany’s first CubeSat Start-Up – “German Orbital Systems”. To date, the company has built and launched eleven satellites. At EXOLAUNCH – a sister company of GOS – Walter held the CTO position. In this role he participated in 10 launch campaigns from different launch sites, with over 100 deployed satellites. He established a large contact network to satellite and launch vehicle companies from all over the world. Walter frequently represented GOS & EXOLAUNCH in panel discussions, on TV and in newspaper interviews as well as in all New Space related political events in Germany and on conferences worldwide. He has delivered several keynote speeches. After exiting GOS in early 2021 Walter founded on a new space technology Start-Up – Reflex Aerospace. The new company will focus on sophisticated small satellite platforms (>250 kg) with fastest times to orbit in the segment.
