As the CEO and founder of Qumis, I am passionate about creating novel workflow automation and knowledge solutions for insurance professionals inspired by my legal career. Qumis is an AI-powered knowledge platform built for the knowledge work surrounding reading and interpreting insurance policies.

I have a strong background in property and casualty insurance law, as well as the legal needs of a high-growth venture-capital backed startup. I was the second corporate legal hire and the sole corporate attorney for a transition period at Kin Insurance, a Chicago-based unicorn direct to consumer homeowners insurance company. There, I supported the C-suite executives and enabled the company's growth and compliance. Prior to Kin, I worked at multiple AmLaw 200 law firms advising global insurance companies on their most complex claims and risks. I hold a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.A. with departmental honors from Northwestern University.
