Primary Record is a mobile application that connects many health data sources to help families facing a life-changing diagnosis like cancer, dementia, or rare disease that have to share their health story to a growing care team so that they can ditch the medical binders they rely on today to share their health story.

From my experience as a nurse in critical care and 1000+ hours coordinating care for older adults in my community, I am determined to make medical data benefit the families who care for each other.

I have seen the binders and filing systems families use today in healthcare. I have lived the hours on the phone with doctors' offices, insurance companies, and Google, trying to find the best community resources to care for someone else. The most scalable part of caregiving is collecting, organizing, and sharing medical information.

At Primary Record, we focus on the family caregiving experience and ensuring others understand what a critical role families play in the future of interoperability. This is why we partnered with 1upHealth in 2022 to understand what is possible when a passionate little startup partners with family caregivers to help them access FHIR APIs from over 30,000 endpoints.

Our team is always looking to connect with others who understand the problems families face! We seek those partners who can help us shift care into the homes where our most medically complex are cared for by their family and community.
