Co-founder and CEO of PolyAI, a leading supplier of Conversational AI for automated customer service. We provide leading enterprises in the US / UK with superb voice-based digital assistants.

We build robust and scalable voice assistants for customer service, providing human-level customer experience coupled with substantial operational efficiencies. Voice is notoriously difficult to automate due to idiosyncratic speech and background noise, but the demand for voice-based customer support is persistent. I am very proud of my team at PolyAI, who have created the first enterprise-ready voice assistant that really works in practice.

We are passionate about language and believe that conversational technologies should be language agnostic. That’s why we developed a machine learning model that can understand almost any world language - and why the company was named PolyAI.

Before starting PolyAI, I worked with the Apple Siri team in Cambridge, and I was the first engineer at VocalIQ, a dialogue systems startup acquired by Apple. I did my Ph.D. at Cambridge, working with Professor Steve Young. Prior to that, I did the Cambridge Computer Science Tripos, including a Master's thesis on Bayesian machine learning with Professor Zoubin Ghahramani.
