I spent the past several years in the kitchen. I studied with Christian Etienne in a Michelin-starred restaurant and honed my skills in California and New York, learning from Daniel Boulud and Thomas Keller. I worked and wrote for Martha Stewart and developed new food and beverage products for large CPG brands while working at an innovation consulting firm. I then had the exciting opportunity to write my own cookbook series published by St. Martin’s Griffin. All the while, I periodically appeared on The Food Network, where I won Cutthroat Kitchen and became a finalist on The Food Network Star.

I then had my son. Now, as a mom of two under the age of three, I quickly realized how horrific changing tables are in public restrooms. They are often unsafe, uncomfortable, and unwelcoming….if they even exist – especially not in men’s rooms. Parents and babies deserve better, so I’ve organized an immensely talented team and together, we are revolutionizing the changing table! Pluie is women owned and operated, made in the USA - in the Midwest!, and we donate diapers for every changing table sold. In 2021, Pluie in partnership with Hello Bello donated over 1,000 pounds. My diaper donation work began in 2017 when I joined the Infant Welfare Society as a board member. I support the Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Chicago, Pluie's first location! As a mom of two I am deeply passionate about children and health.

Pluie has successfully raised $1.9M in funding ($815k in 2019 and $1.075M in 2021). We are currently raising our seed equity round.
