Alain co-founded Paymob during his undergraduate studies at the American University in Cairo, serving as its President & Chief Operating Officer, where he co-lead Paymob to be the leading merchant financial services enabler in MENAP, which has grown to process hundreds of millions of transactions and tens billions of dollars in annual throughput.

Started a successful career building professional experiences in general management by setting up and scaling diverse company operations like Product, Performance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, People, Risk, and Finance in addition to several other management functions. Alain scaled Paymob across various geographies across the Middle East and Africa. Alain is keen on building innovative mass-scale technology services empowering the underserved with better access to financial services.

Alain enjoys Reading, Traveling, and Kitesurfing, and advises startups/scaleups in his free time. Holds a BSc from the American University in Cairo.
