22-year-old NYU dropout building the online ecosystem for live experiences.

I started building at 15. As a high school sophomore, I built a no-code Squarespace MVP of ChoreBug - a platform that gives community members the ability to hire local high schoolers for odd jobs help. After hiring over 50 of my peers and accruing over $20K in GMV, I was joined by our CTO/Co-Founder Oliver Leopold to build out a nationwide platform that gives any high school student the power to build their own odd jobs venture. After running into problems with student reliability and post-graduation churn, the project fizzled out, but I learned a lot about startups.

Along with my passion for startups, I have also been a DJ for over 15 years (I'm 22, learned at 5, taught by my dad). As an NYU student, I was immediately able to utilize this skill at many of New York's most popular nightclubs. Throughout these experiences, we spotted many inefficiencies - leading us to start POSH. Originating as an event production group in 2019, CTO/Co-Founder Eli Taylor-Lemire and I quickly became unsatisfied with the SaaS products available to market our events. We decided to build our own solution. After launching in October 2020, POSH has helped over 7000 groups manage and monetize their live experiences.
