Deep experience in electromagnetic and optical engineering. Design, development, prototyping, low and high volume manufacturing of electromagnetic systems. Systems architecture of electromagetic systems and EV powertrains. Technical expertise in motor/generator design and control including magnetic, structural, and thermal/CFD analysis.

7 years experience with analysis, design and implementation of optical hardware, MCT detector arrays, ultra low-noise pre-amplifiers and high-pass active filters, data collection and conditioning, and numerical model development.

Worked on site at research institutions and industry including MIT Haystack Observatory, NAIC Arecibo Observatory, MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center, DIII-D National Fusion Facility, Pyron Solar Inc, and Fisker Automotive Inc. Work closely with and managed Chinese suppliers on-site to ensure program timeline, deliverables, and milestones are met and products are fully validated.

Specialties: Technical team building, systems architecture, technology roadmap. Programming experience in C/C++, Java, Python, mySQL and data analysis packages MATLAB, LabVIEW and IDL. Proficiency with Catia V5, Matlab Simulink Embedded Coder, SPEED, JMAG, Maxwell electromagnetic modeling of electric machines, Star-CCM+ CFD simulations. Experienced in modeling and design of optical systems, use of class III and IV lasers. Extensive experience with numerical modeling and optimization techniques.
