Previously I worked on large scale ML projects at (Amazon) Robotics AI (RAI). This included the conception, design and implementation of the 'Janus' continual learning framework (https://www.amazon.science/latest-news/amazon-robotics-continual-learning-reinforcement-learning-janus-framework) for the item manipulation robot – Robin (https://www.amazon.science/latest-news/amazon-robotics-see-robin-robot-arms-in-action). Recently reached 1B packages and featured in AMZN Q1 2023 earnings. Also worked on foundation models for visual search and robotic perception.

Prior to industry, I was a physicist working to develop lensless imaging techniques by solving inverse problems using non-convex optimization methods. I was the recipient of a Volkswagen Foundation Paul-Ewald Fellowship at Stanford University (https://www.volkswagenstiftung.de/en/funding/free-electron-laser-science-peter-paul-ewald-fellowships-at-lcls-in-stanford). Prior to Stanford, I was working at University College London as part of the London Centre for Nanotechnology.

This research resulted in a number of significant achievements in nanoscale imaging with high impact publications in journals such as Science, Nature Physics, Nature Materials, Nature Communications, PNAS, and Physical Review Letters (see contact information for Google scholar link to publications list).
