Prior to Manifest, Dan was the founder of June Homes—a leading technology platform for the flexible living category—and Co-Founder of NextStory Capital, a modern-day multi-family real estate investment fund. Under his leadership, June Homes raised over $70M+ in capital from world-class investors, including SoftBank, Nomura, Quiet Capital, FJ Labs, TQ Ventures, and PnP Ventures. Dan scaled the company to $1.3 Billion in Assets Under Management and $54M ARR, leading a team of 200+ to EBITDA profitability before transitioning from CEO to Chairman following the company’s acquisition in 2025.

Before June Homes, Mishin founded Bear Hostels, a leading hostel company in the CIS region. In 2012, Bear Hostels was majority acquired by Planet of Hospitality Holdings, the largest hospitality company in Eastern Europe. Following a $100M investment announcement, Dan became the CEO of the Joined Venture and led expansion across multiple markets in the CIS region until exiting the company in late 2015.
