Raditya Wibowo Indonesia - Jakarta, Jakarta

Raditya joined Gojek as an early employee in 2015 to build GoBox and has grown together with the company, taking bigger and bigger roles. When he first joined Gojek, the company was run out of a two-story house which only had one working toilet. After launching GoBox, he led the product team which built and launched the first e-commerce instant delivery experience in Indonesia, by integrating Gojek's delivery APIs with e-commerce partners such as Tokopedia in 2016.

Since 2018 he has been overseeing Gojek's global Transportation business—worth at least a couple billion dollars in valuation as a standalone business unit—and turned it around from being a loss leader into a profitable backbone of the Gojek platform. He was also Gojek Singapore's first General Manager, leading Gojek's first international launch using the same Gojek brand and app. Today he runs a cross-functional team comprising thousands of people across all 5 different countries that Gojek operates in.

His experience ranges across both the technical and operational aspects of managing a technology startup. From 2016-2018 he led the product engineering team within Gojek which scaled its backend systems to survive a period of exponential growth, focusing on improving the technical infrastructure and algorithms that match driver-partners and customers. He also led the team which built Gojek's dynamic pricing from scratch and rolled out new driver incentive mechanisms to better balance supply and demand across both sides of Gojek's marketplace. At the time Gojek was facing a "growth ceiling", where completed orders plateaued over a few months as they couldn't rise above a certain threshold before the entire system would break and stop working under overwhelming demand—this would very often happen during afternoon rush hour. The work that him and his team did allowed Gojek to break through the ceiling and resume its exponential growth.

Born in Indonesia and a local graduate, he plays an essential role in ensuring that Gojek's diverse and international team of employees has a strong pulse of what's happening on the ground in Indonesia—and that the front-liner driver-partners who allow Gojek to exist continue to be heard. Prior to Gojek, Raditya was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
