I am a multinational passionate about developing companies that create products people love by combining big vision, strategic insight, and operational excellence. I aim to make life safer, healthier, and more fun for millions. Given my connection to diabetes, it’s where I predominantly spend my time.

I thrive in rapidly growing and complex organizations where my focus and passion lead to success.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Luna Diabetes: Invented the product for Luna Diabetes, where I currently serve as CEO.
• Bigfoot Unity: Formed and led the team that created the Bigfoot Unity product, which was acquired by Abbott Diabetes Care in 2023.
• Timesulin: Co-founded and led Timesulin as CEO until its acquisition by Bigfoot Biomedical in 2017. Oversaw operations for products used by hundreds of thousands of people with diabetes across more than 40 countries.

INNOVATION AND RECOGNITION:
• One of the first individuals worldwide to build/hack my own open-source automated insulin delivery system.
• Winner of the UK National Health Service Award for Most Innovative Patient-Developed Digital Technology.
• Lead and/or named inventor on over 30 patents.
• Recognized as Young Person of the Year in Sweden.

ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTIONS:
• Serve as a faculty member in Digital Health at the University of California San Diego.
• Supported the South African government on stimulating entrepreneurship in townships of the Western Cape.

When I’m not working, you can find me racing dirt bikes in the deserts of Northern Baja, Mexico, surfing, or raising my twin sons to be as adventurous as their dad.

Life Goal- Never be in a situation where I have to wear a tie. Not there yet.
