Ever since starting in university, I have had the privilege to work with some of the brightest and entrepreneurial people in the High-Tech Brainport region of the Netherlands. Building Lightyear is a collaborative effort, where passion for technology, the earth and great products come together. Lightyear grew from 5 to 500 people in about 6 years. As Lightyear is a technology company, all most all effort goes into R&D.

The common denominator for all of the projects I have done: They all used the latest technology to create products that fast-forward us into a new age. We started with a blank piece of paper, full of idea's and both projects received huge response from world-wide media.

I strongly believe technology should be used for the right purposes, not to sell ads or products people don't need, but to directly challenge the world's biggest problems. We are not alone, technology is here to give us a hand.
