Just months before ChatGPT came out, I cofounded Lamini, an LLM startup based on both my PhD dissertation in generative AI and my love for building delightful products as a product manager. Wish me luck and hope to see some of you along the journey!

Thanks for visiting :)

* MIT Technology Review's 35 Under 35
* Teach generative AI to over a *quarter million* people on Coursera
* Keynote/speaker for F500 executives on generative AI strategy

Before Lamini, I was Stanford CS faculty in generative AI, where I led a research group of 50+ students, and published award-winning research, eg. top 1% paper at NeurIPS. All on generative AI.

I received my PhD in CS from Stanford, advised by Andrew Ng. My dissertation was on deep generative models aka. generative AI, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Diffusion Models, and my first love Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).

I can't wait to see what *you* build & generate — feel free to tweet at me your outputs and certificates (and memes). They really brighten my day, and I do see them, so thank you for those!

I have an unusual childhood. A lot of adventure, risk-taking, and spontaneity. Gratitude and integrity were the important things.

Before I learned to code, I studied the Classics. I'm interested in what stays the test of time and what lasts millennia. My life mission is to give back to the world what I wish I had had, with something in there that can stand millennia. Creations and ideas that drastically change how we act, think, and feel. Like the Classics have. That's why I do what I do.
