Jinyong Lee is CEO of Kryptos Biotechnologies. The company is developing a sample-to-answer molecular diagnostics system for point-of-care testing based on its core technology, photothermal heating technology. He is in charge of business operation including strategic planning, business development, and investor relations.

He received his MBA degree at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a President of Wharton Korea Club, and a member of Healthcare, Technology, and Boxing club.

Before Wharton, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company in 2009 - 2015. He served clients in various industries including Technology, Private equity, Finance, Consumer product, Chemicals, Construction, and Heavy industries sectors in Seoul, Dubai, and Sao Paulo offices. His main practice areas were new business planning, due diligence, post-merger integration, operation improvement, and organization optimization.

Jinyong Lee holds a BA in Business administration from Seoul National University. He was awarded Seoul National University Alumni Association scholarship. During his days in the college, he founded a start-up and worked as a management team at high-end beauty salon in South Korea.

As a fervent boxer, he won two gold medals in boxing competitions.
