Our Name Says It All!

It describes everything about us – from the gear we rent to the service we provide. Over two decades ago we started High Output with a handful of lights and a simple goal: to provide commercial producers with the newest & most efficient equipment.

Since then we’ve grown to become a significant supplier of equipment and services. Today, our clients include film, broadcast, video, theatrical and event producers who use our lights, generators, dimmers and trucks on thousands of projects each year. We continue to be true to our name – HIGH OUTPUT.

Jim Hirsch is a founding partner and C.O.O. of High Output Inc. High Output is a national leader in entertainment industry support. Based in Boston MA with four regional offices on the east coast we supply lighting and grip equipment to movies and television commercials, theatrical equipment to clients such as the Boston Ballet and Boston Lyric Opera, System installations from corporate video to large scale theatrical rigging and automation. Maintaining a production staff, High Output works to achieve your ultimate vision from exquisite weddings to political rallies.

In addition to the responsibilities at High Output Jim maintains a career as a Lighting director with shows such as CNBC Mad Money and Boston Common Publishing’s Cooks Country and America’s Test Kitchen.
