At Galley, we believe employees working in the food industry deserve a better quality of life. Pretty much anyone who works in a kitchen making food, no matter how big or small the kitchen, works long hours, does an overwhelming amount of manual and tedious work, and is not paid a living wage. This leads to labor shortages, poor mental health, food theft, food waste, and ultimately poor utilization of one of our most precious resources: food.

We improve the lives of folks working in kitchens by building beautiful, intuitive, and modern software to help kitchens run more efficiently. Similar to how the word processor transformed the corporate world and changed the quality of life for secretaries, or how AutoCAD transformed the construction industry by creating a streamlined, digital representation of a project, our software considers the recipe to be the atomic unit of the food industry. We build workflows, planning, and automation on top of recipes to better utilize labor and consumable resources.
