These include Tessera Therapeutics, Generate Biomedicines, Indigo Agriculture, Sana Biotechnology (SANA), Cobalt Biomedicine (acquired by Sana), Kaleido Biosciences (NASDAQ: KLDO), Seres Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MCRB), and Axcella Health (NASDAQ: AXLA), which respectively are pioneering gene writing, generative biology, plant microbiome products for crop improvement, engineered cells as medicine, cell-specific gene therapies, novel chemistries to drug the human microbiome, microbiome therapeutics, and amino acid-based drugs.
