I am a highly experienced marketer with experience in upstream and downstream marketing. In 2014 I was awarded the Global and North America James E Burke Award for my work leading the Attune Intuition instrument strategy. I started my career working in research and development at CMW. I was responsible for the development of cement mixing and pressurization systems. In 1996 I joined Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics as a Hip Bioengineer responsible for the development of acetabular cup instruments and implants. With the acquisition of DePuy I moved to knee R&D progressing to the position of Senior Bioengineer at which point I went through the J&J Six Sigma Black belt program. I then moved into an international marketing position dealing with the OUS markets. Ultimately progressing to become a group category manager with focus on professional education and the surgical process product portfolio. In this positon I led the HP instrument development project as well as the HP partial project from a marketing perspective. It was a natural progression to take on the Group Category Director position as part of the World Wide franchise leading the Attune instrument strategy. After the launch of the Attune system I then moved to Asia Pacific to become the Marketing Director for the joint reconstruction business. After a year in Asia I was given additional responsibility taking on the management of the Joints MITEK and Power portfolio which have a total value of $650M.
