I grew up in a mining town just outside Perth, Australia. I’ve always been a bit of a rebel, leaving school at 16 and after 5 years of hairdressing opening my own salon. But I’ve also always been the ambitious type, and soon found myself wanting more. I went back to school, opened the first on-demand digital platform for freelance beauticians, and then ultimately built Deployed with my two amazing co-founders Jamie and Kayleigh; A collaborative Statement of Work platform that makes it simple to define, track, and review work for projects that start smarter and finish stronger.

Now, I'm raising my family in Barcelona, navigating all the challenges of being a female founder in a male-dominated industry, and sharing my experiences of imposter syndrome moving from scissors to software.
