Stephen DeWitt United States - Millbrae, California,

For more than thirty years, I have been building and shaping technology companies. My career-long passion for the tech sector has allowed me the opportunity to build multiple start-ups from inception to scale, as well as serve as a senior executive for some of the industry's most influential market leaders including Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Symantec, and Sun at critical times in our industry.

Most recently I was the Chief Executive Officer at CloudBees; the enterprise DevOps company. Prior to CloudBees, I was the Chief Strategy Officer at Automation Anywhere, a market maker in the robotic process automation (RPA) space. Before that, I was the CEO at WorkMarket, which was acquired by ADP in 2018. WorkMarket brought cloud-based labor work-flow automation software to the market. All of these companies were pioneers in their space and all deliver their value through an enterprise SaaS operating model.

Prior to these innovative start-ups, I spent many years at HP during a pivotal time in its storied history.
I held three roles during my tenor there encompassing go to market, functional leadership, and R&D. I served as the SVP of Enterprise Marketing helping to drive the transformation of HP's server, storage, networking, SaaS, and services portfolio. I served as the SVP/GM of the WebOS GBU & the SVP/GM of the America's for the Personal Systems Division where I led HP's largest regional operation.

Prior to HP, I served as President/CEO & Chairman of Azul Systems, a pioneer in massively scaled computing systems and virtual machines optimized for Java. Together with brilliant minds and passionate engineers, I helped provide strategic leadership and visionary direction for Azul from its earliest stages through development and market entry.

I came to Azul following my time at Sun Microsystems. I was there following the acquisition of Cobalt Networks. I was Cobalt's President & CEO, and helped guide the team from its earliest stages of development through a period of rapid revenue growth & global expansion. We took the company through a dramatic IPO and drove its multi-billion-dollar merger with Sun where I then served as the VP/GM of Edge Computing & Content Delivery.

Prior to Cobalt, I served on the executive staff at Cisco Systems as VP/GM of the Enterprise Network Management Business Unit & VP of Enterprise Marketing where I worked directly for the CEO. Before Cisco, I was VP of Worldwide Marketing for Symantec, again reporting to the CEO. I also served as GM of the Canadian subsidiary of Symantec based in Toronto earlier in my career.
