Sebastian is CEO and Co-Founder of Bia Energy, a pioneering company at the forefront of the energy industry. Bia Energy seamlessly merges smart metering infrastructure data with energy retailing, offering a customer-centric, data-driven platform that empowers users to take control of their energy consumption and costs. With Bia rapidly becoming the standard in Colombia's energy sector and beyond, transforming the region's energy service landscape.

Before his role at Bia Energy, Sebastian played a vital part in shaping the success of LatAm's SuperApp Rappi as a founding team member. He spearheaded the development of the Monetization model, Business Development, and New Business. Additionally, Sebastian has been a valuable independent consultant to multiple StartUps in the region, leveraging his expertise in product and commercial strategy.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Sebastian's work extends into the world of venture capital as an advisor to 8VC, Managing Partner, and Co-founder of Opera Ventures, and VP of MatterScale Ventures. He is also a speaker, including TEDTalks.

Sebastian's background includes marketing and commercial strategy roles in the CPG industry, where he contributed his skills to companies such as L'Oreal, Quala, and Johnson & Johnson.

His academic accomplishments include an MBA from Tulane University and an EP from Singularity University, among others.
