Ryan is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience launching and investing in high-profile ventures in Education & Edtech, and emerging industries. He is the founder of Crosby & Prince Ventures, a boutique private investment fund, and is passionate about supporting visionary ventures and helping scaling companies reach their full potential.

Ryan is also the Co-founder & Director of Adventus.io, a SaaS-based marketplace for the international student recruitment market, operating in more than 40 regions worldwide. He actively supports the company's growth-focused opportunities and strategy.

Ryan's entrepreneurial journey began in 1997, at the young age of 23, when he launched his first company, growing one of the largest Retail Security labor force firms in the country and becoming a pioneer in the outsourcing of Loss Prevention services, later successfully exiting to Wilson Parking.

Since then, he has co-founded and invested in several other ventures successfully sold to prominent companies. In 2008, he founded Franklyn Scholar, which quickly became Australia's largest private VET Workplace Education company, with over 20,000 participants commencing training per year. The company was later acquired by Kaplan, a subsidiary of the Washington Post, in May 2011.

Ryan's contributions to the industry have earned him numerous accolades, including being named the Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in the Southern Region (services category) in 2010. He has since served as a national chairman of judges for the awards.

Ryan lives in Melbourne with his wife and three daughters. He is an avid enthusiast of AFL and basketball and enjoys immersing himself in history, philosophy, and sociology in his free time.
