I am passionate about improving our world by breaking science, technology, and ideas out of the lab and into commercial success. My mission is to streamline commercialization, speeding it up and maximizing its potential to create change. I do this either by creating the conditions for others to succeed or by leading initiatives to launch new products/businesses.

Previously I led many initiatives at Xerox ranging from corporate R&D projects, collaborative product development, and creation of new services businesses. As well I oversaw a number of technology development-based relationships with government, universities, and small+medium companies and also co-led Xerox’s global intrapreneruship program for new product and business introduction. Prior to Xerox, I was a PI at the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA overseeing a large research group and co-created multiple technologies that were licensed and commercialized. These efforts are in part reflected in 25 research publications (with 11,000+ citations), inventor on 50+ patents, and a number of awards for business and technical accomplishments.
