Stuart Coleman United States - San Francisco, California

Stuart Coleman is a Partner at Superstep Capital, an investment firm that backs the best next generation tech services companies.

Prior to Superstep, Stuart ran corporate strategy, M&A, and internal operations for Hero Digital, a private equity-backed digital transformation and customer experience company. Stuart joined Hero in 2018, significantly scaled the business as part of the management team, and ultimately sold the company to AEA Investors in November 2021.

Prior to Hero, Stuart developed corporate strategy and sourced acquisitions for MDC Partners (now Stagwell Group), a publicly-traded marketing services company. While at MDC, Stuart led digital services M&A, sourcing numerous deals (e.g., Instrument, Y Media Labs), and was a part of 25+ investments and acquisitions, allocating hundreds of millions of dollars to growth-stage companies.

Stuart began his career as an investment banker advising companies on M&A and capital raising, closing over $2B in financing for his clients. Since his investment banking days, Stuart has founded a venture-backed startup, been a strategic advisor, and sat on boards of companies in the IT services, digital media and marketing technology space. He is primarily focused on helping companies pursue outpaced growth in the digital age.
