My brother Louis and I founded 247 Group with a clear purpose: to help people improve their everyday lives.

With family roots in the motor industry, I set out to follow in their footsteps while also forging my own path. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was confident that I could work hard and create my own success.

I was quick to see the opportunities that technology could afford and launched my first online used classified business, NetCars, at the age of 17. I was able to refine that proposition over the years and exited via a sale to RAC in 2006.

My experience with NetCars and knowledge of the industry revealed a gap in the market for a disruptive platform that could harness the power of technology to connect car buyers, sellers, and finance providers. That idea became CarFinance 247.

CarFinance 247 is now the UK’s leading digital car finance platform and receives more than 100K consumer applications each month. We work with a network of 4,000 independent dealerships, a panel of 16 lenders, and originated more than £500m in motor finance last year. Our workplace grew by 20% in 2021 and we currently employ over 500 industry professionals in our Manchester HQ.

In 2018, I established 247 Money, an independent lender that leverages data science and industry-leading technology to facilitate loans for a broad range of consumers. The lender currently issues over 1000 consumer loans each month and has originated more than £100m in motor finance.

I’m passionate about driving innovation in the motor industry, investing in pioneering tech, and finding and developing the best talent. Company culture and values, leadership, and mental health are causes close to my heart and I serve as Founding Chair of the Manchester Youth Zone Fundraising Board. I’m married with three children and split my spare time between the family, marathon training, and supporting the other Reds, Liverpool.
