Géraldine Le Meur, a French-American entrepreneur, turned early-stage investor, founded her first company at 23.

Since the early days of the Internet in 1995, Geraldine successfully pursued her entrepreneurial journey in the tech ecosystem, founding a web agency, a web hosting company, a blogging platform, and a trailblazer event; LeWeb which brought all of Silicon Valley's key players in Europe.

As an Angel Investor, she invested in companies such as LinkedIn, LendingClub, Teads, Evernote, and, more recently, Animoca brands.

In Nov 2020, she joined FrenchFounders Inc. as a Partner. Based in NYC now after 14 years in SF, she leads LeFonds by FrenchFounders to bring genuine Network Effect to the investment value chain.
LeFonds vision & ambition align with bringing to French-speaking entrepreneurs a first-stage venture partner who will support them financially while leveraging the network of 4000+ outstanding Members.
Money is not enough; on top of co-investing, we are talking about recruiting, biz dev, warm intros, and trust to create value together, supported by a robust French-speaking community worldwide at the scale-up moment of an international expansion. LeFonds focus is Seed to Serie A.

Before this, in 2016, she co-founded her 1st fund, The Refiners, a San Francisco-based pre-seed fund and program devoted to foreign founders. The Refiners Fund I backed and invested in 56 companies.

She published in 2019 "Step it up How French women hack work-life balance" to demystify female entrepreneurship and help women connect to role models grounded in real life. Translated from her French book "Comme elles entreprenez votre vie!"

She graduated in 1995 from SKEMA Business School.
She serves on the board of Skema Business School, Sigfox Foundation & Retency.
She is Knight of the French Legion of Honour (January 2019)
