I studied biology in school to appreciate the little things in life, and business to further realize technological potential through investments.

Currently I am an investor at Cedar Pine, one of the largest family offices in the US. My mandate, while healthcare forward, is ultimately industry agnostic, and focused primarily on private company opportunities including venture capital, growth capital, and select buyout investments. We seek to write $25M or more into privately held enterprises as a lead, co-lead, or co-investor.

Previously, I spent time as an investor and operator at Paragon Biosciences, a company building platform. At Paragon, I launched a regenerative medicine company, and held a number of senior business development functions across the portfolio, which included the sourcing of new assets as well as leading divestiture efforts. During my time at Paragon, the firm had invested over $1.5BN into its portfolio companies to date.

Prior to Paragon, I was with Santé Ventures, a top quartile life science venture capital and machine learning hedge fund with over $1BN under management.

In a more distant life, I was also an investment banker, which I leverage from time-to-time to help remind me how to spell "revenue" and "EBITDA" despite my venture capital history.
