Rob Acker currently serves as the Chief Customer Officer of Salesforce.org, one of the largest and most innovative independent SAAS companies in the world serving the social sector. Salesforce.org today has over 50,000 customers, 1,000+ employees, $500+ Million in Revenue, $1.8 Billion social impact in donated technology, and to date has generated over $400 Million to fund the Salesforce Foundation. Saleforce.org was acquired by Salesforce.com in 2019.

For the past 20 years at Salesforce, Rob has managed world-class sales, customer success, marketing, and engineering teams with a focus on building, transforming, and creating new markets. Rob joined Salesforce in 2000, where he built several business units including the Small Business Unit, Sales Development Team, Account Management Team, and the SAAS Industry’s first Customer Success Management Team. Additionally, he spent 4 years overseeing EMEA Sales for Salesforce between 2006-2010. In 2010, Rob became COO of Data.com which was the largest software acquisition to date in Salesforce history. Prior to 2000, he spent five years at Oracle in Enterprise Sales.

Rob’s passion is bringing innovative people, technology, and big problems together in order to drive, measure, and scale impact. He currently serves on the Obama Foundation Technology Advisory Committee as well as the United Nations Global Humanitarian Action Executive Committee. In 2019, Rob was the recipient of the Corporate Social Intrapreneur of the Year award from the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship at the World Economic Forum. He has been a frequent speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the United Nations General Assembly, and Dreamforce.

Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Gonzaga University, cum laude. He is also an avid musician who lives in Marin County with his wife and three kids.
