Boston, MA - Uwill, a mental health care technology company, announced today that it has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Education Growth Partners. The funding will be used to expand access to mental health care for students and colleges through Uwill's innovative online therapy platform.
Founded by Michael London, Uwill offers a secure and robust online therapy platform that incorporates cutting-edge technologies to facilitate best-in-class video and message-based counseling. The platform has not yet been made available through current teletherapy solutions, and it aims to expand mental health access and services to colleges by building on technology-enabled models that have been validated in recent years.
"We are thrilled to partner with Education Growth Partners to accelerate Uwill's mission to expand access to mental health care for students and colleges," said Michael London, Founder and CEO of Uwill. "This funding will allow us to further develop our platform and reach more students and colleges in need of mental health support."
