Typeface, an enterprise-grade generative artificial intelligence (AI) application to power personalised content, has generated $65 million in funding round. The funding round was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Google Ventures (GV), Microsoft's venture fund M12, and Menlo Ventures. A funding round to expand its generative AI platform for marketing and communication content such as blog posts, Instagram posts, websites, and LinkedIn job postings.
Typeface was founded by Abhay Parasnis, the former chief technology officer of Adobe, and a team of AI, software as a service (SaaS), and media technologists. Parasnis witnessed companies eagerly integrate breakthroughs in cloud technology and office productivity tools during his eight years as CTO at Adobe, as well as senior leadership positions at Oracle and Microsoft. With the success of DALL-E 2 and ChatGPT last year, he believes the time has come for businesses to incorporate generative AI into their content workflows.
Typeface claims that its new products provide complete lifecycle content development with self-serve solutions to generate content with speed, ease, and brand authenticity across all departments, including marketing, customer support, advertising, sales, HR, and others.
