New York-based TipLink raises $6 million in their latest seed funding round to unlock the ultimate distribution mechanism to send crypto & NFTs. This is said by Ian Krotinsky, one of the company's co-founders. The funding was led by Sequoia Capital and Multicoin Capital, with participation from other prominent investors, including Asymmetric(US), Circle (US) and Paxos.
TipLink makes distributing digital assets as simple as clicking a link. The company allows anyone to send cryptocurrencies directly to anyone on the internet without having a digital wallet. This helps people save money for shopping, event tickets, etc.
Ian Krotinsky said the funding would help in growing the corporation and helping them become more successful. He further highlighted that "when you don't have a wallet and want to send crypto to someone, you're forced to email. Wouldn't it be great if there was an easy way for people to send money over the internet, even when they don't have an existing wallet? That's why we built TipLink. Our new TipLink service allows anyone to easily send money anywhere in the world -- with or without an existing wallet!"
