Boca Raton, FL - TicketRev, a leading operator of a reverse marketplace that facilitates the buying and reselling of live event tickets, has raised $1.1 million in a pre-seed funding round. The funding was led by 500 Startups, Soma Capital, Groove Capital, Techstars, the Minnesota Twins, and angel investors.

This approach allows sellers to accept a matching bid and resell their tickets instantly, providing buyers with the opportunity to purchase tickets at a lower price than the market rate.
