Nimble Robotics, a robotics-powered third-party logistics fulfillment network that serves e-commerce firms and other companies across the U.S., announced it has closed a $65 million Series B funding round. The round was led by GSR Ventures with participation from Cedar Pine, Breyer Capital, and DNS Capital.
Nimble is inventing the autonomous supply chain, leveraging AI technology developed at Stanford and Carnegie Mellon to build intelligent robotic fulfillment systems that autonomously pick, pack and ship e-commerce orders while reducing warehouse size by as much as 75%. Its founding team is backed by famed robotics and AI icons Sebastian Thrun and Fei-Fei Li.
Simon Kalouche, founder & CEO of Nimble Robotics said “With this new infusion of capital we can now expand our network of automated warehouses across the US to provide customers with faster delivery times and click-to-collect savings of 40% versus legacy 3PL firms. We are proud to be leading the way in revolutionizing the industry”.
The funding will enable Nimble Robotics to continue building its presence across the US while also adding capabilities such as same-day delivery services for its customers. With its fully automated 3PL centers, Nimble helps companies overcome an increasingly difficult problem.
