Mainteny, Secures $2.9M in Seed Funding to Empower Small and Medium-Sized Facility Management Companies
March 22, 2023
Mainteny, a Berlin-based start-up, has secured $2,894,000 in seed funding from investors, including Antler, Cusp Capital, Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, ProGlove, and Smart Infrastructure Ventures. The company aims to provide small and medium-sized facility management companies with the right technology tools to remain competitive and achieve operational efficiency, resulting in increased revenue.
Initially, the company focused on the elevator maintenance industry, offering two main service areas. The first involves maintaining elevators efficiently, achieved through digitizing maintenance processes and workflow using mobile-first applications. The second area focuses on keeping elevators only when needed, facilitated by collecting operational data through IoT devices and analyzing and predicting necessary maintenance cycles.
With this funding, Mainteny plans to expand its team and develop new tools to serve the facility management industry beyond elevator maintenance.
By empowering small and medium-sized businesses with technology tools, Mainteny is helping them compete with larger companies while improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
