Kayentis, a start-up based in Meylan, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, has raised $5.4 million in funding from Bpifrance, LBO France, and Extens e-santé. The company is a global provider of electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) and Decentralized Clinical Trial (DCT) solutions, which help pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and CROs simplify the collection of clinical trial data from patients and sites.
Kayentis has been active in clinical development since 2003 and specializes in eCOA solutions for phases II/III across various therapeutic areas. The company has developed a full range of services and has expanded its portfolio beyond eCOA solutions to support the new normal of decentralized and hybrid trials. Kayentis has collected digital data for over 280 clinical trials in 85 countries, employing 120 languages. The company has offices in the US (Boston), France (Grenoble), and Japan (Tokyo) and currently employs 185 staff.
