New York City, NY, April 13, 2023 - HUG, the community-driven discovery platform for NFT projects and creators, today announced it has raised $5 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by OKX, with participation from Venrex and BOLD (Paris).
HUG was founded by Randi Zuckerberg and Debbie Soon to support the Web3 creator community and build a more diverse and inclusive ecosystem. The company’s platform allows people to discover NFT projects and creators in a thoughtfully curated way, and its creator accelerator program provides direct support and mentorship to up-and-coming project creators and founders.
Today, HUG is home to 27 different NFT communities, and has a collective reach of over 650,000 Web3 and NFT enthusiasts who believe in the company’s mission to build the inclusiverse. The funds raised will be used to further expand HUG’s platform and accelerate the growth of its community.
