Manchester-based cybersecurity startup CultureAI announced today that it has raised $8,785,000 in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Passion Capital, with participation from Senovo and Conviction VC.
CultureAI was founded by James Moore with the aim of helping organizations move beyond traditional security awareness training and improve their human cyber risks and behaviors. The company's platform continuously quantifies actual human risks and behaviors, providing insights into two types of interventions - technical and educational.
Through technical interventions, CultureAI mitigates immediate risk with powerful human-centric orchestration, while educational interventions prevent reoccurrence by coaching employees with individually tailored security education, gamification, and security rewards to change behavior.
The funding will be used to expand CultureAI's team, accelerate product development, and increase market reach. The company is committed to helping organizations protect themselves from cyber threats by improving their human cybersecurity practices.
"We are thrilled to have secured this funding, which will allow us to take CultureAI to the next level," said James Moore, CEO of CultureAI. "Our platform is already helping organizations to improve their cybersecurity practices, and this investment will enable us to reach even more businesses in need of our services."
