Groningen, Netherlands - CropX Technologies, an ag-analytics company that has developed the world’s most advanced adaptive irrigation service, has announced the successful completion of its Series C funding round, raising $30 million in new funding. The funding round was led by OurCrowd, Finistere Ventures, NTT Finance Corporation, Edaphon, and Aliaxis.
CropX’s innovative technology, developed by a team of world-leading scientists, offers a solution to the challenge of uniform irrigation in farming. Current irrigation systems water fields evenly, resulting in the waste of water and energy and repressing crop yield. CropX’s service is the world’s first and only automated adaptive differential irrigation solution, which successfully addresses this challenge. Its technology automatically generates daily, accurate, hassle-free irrigation maps, which apply just the right amount of water to different parts of the same field.
The company's founder, Tomer Tzach, stated, “We are thrilled to have secured this funding, which will enable us to continue to grow and expand our operations. Our innovative technology is proven to increase crop yield and reduce water and energy costs, making it a sustainable solution for farmers worldwide.”
