Ampersand, a San Francisco-based start-up, has raised $4.7 million in a seed funding round led by Airtable, G2 Venture Partners, and Matrix Partners India. Other investors in the round included Flex Capital, Dropbox, base case capital, and 2.12 Angels. Ampersand aims to simplify user-facing integrations for developers with its batteries-included platform.
With Ampersand, developers can reduce engineering and customer support time spent on deep integrations with their customers' Systems of Record. The platform includes pre-built components for standard integrations, such as Stripe, Salesforce, and Slack, and tools for data mapping and workflow automation. This allows developers to focus on building unique features and functionality rather than spending time on tedious integration work.
The start-up plans to use the funding to accelerate product development and expand its team. Ampersand was founded in 2021 by Aditya Agarwal, former VP of engineering at Dropbox, and Anshu Sharma, a former partner at Storm Ventures.
The company's mission is to make user-facing integrations easier and more accessible for developers, enabling them to build better customer products and services.
