Devyce Raises $2.7 Million in A Seed Funding Round to Expand its Product Engineering Team
March 10, 2023
Devyce, a SaaS company based in London, UK that provides digital phone numbers to multinational corporations, has raised $2.7 million in seed funding.
Y Combinator led the round, which also included Garage Capital (backers of Substack and Vendr) and FoundersX Ventures (backers of Moonshot Brands), as well as individual investors John Kim, founder, and CEO of Sendbird, and Ryan Chan, founder, and CEO of UpKeep.
The funds will be used to expand the company's product engineering team and bring its product into new European markets.
Devyce is a telecom company founded in 2020 by Leo Bartle, Nicholas Browne, and Edward Clayton that provides virtual phone numbers to individuals and businesses via WiFi or mobile internet. Businesses that want to manage their workforce with the next-generation phone system, simplify the phone experience.
Outside of work hours, Devyce phone numbers can be silenced, and its voicemail systems allow employees to keep their personal and professional lives separate without having to charge and carry two handsets.
