I am founder and CEO of FruPro, the UK’s first digital fresh produce marketplace. We are building a platform that allows the entire supply chain to communicate, connect, buy, and sell all in one place.
My experience comes with over 130 years of family history at the markets, with the last 18 by me.
I started out at the family business, leaving school at 16 to work nights at the wholesale markets.
I built on my time in the markets with time on the sales desk of Total Produce, and DG Imports.
After building relationships and experiencing across the supply chain, I decided to build my own business: WTHill Imports. Trading on a good name and with the right team, this business grew quickly turning over millions after just a few years.
While WTHill Imports has gone from strength to strength, I realised that technological adoption in the industry was fragmented and many processes were inefficient. The industry needed change and it needed to come from the people working in it. For the industry by the industry.

FruPro is the digital fresh produce B2B marketplace, built to help supply chain actors to buy and sell vegetables and fruits in confidence. FruPro platform connects the supply chain end-to-end from farmer to retailer by improving and centralising decluttered communication between customers. It allows businesses to control all aspects of their business from one platform, online.
Platform enables businesses to grow their network by connecting them to new carefully vetted, trusted trading partners, reducing financial risk and opening opportunity for trade.
The platform allows sellers to create a digital and dynamic online store of their products, which they can use to meet customers' needs and enhance current trade by sending them offers on sellers products directly. Sellers can transact with customers 24/7, anywhere. Using our secure system, sellers will be able to send invoices and accept payments. All transactions are recorded and enforceable.
FruPro provides live market data regarding supply and demand. Viewing the market allows businesses to gain insight into the availability and benchmark prices of fresh produce and to improve traceability from the farm to the retailer.
In case of unfulfilled sales, the platform allows sellers to re-distribute produce to new buyers. Furthermore, it can automatically connect sellers with their local food waste charities in case there is a surplus.
